MICHELLE R. ELDER, C.P.A.
Michelle has been active in the field of accounting since 1987 and is licensed with the State Board of Accountancy. Her interests focus primarily on audit and accounting issues for a wide spectrum of clientele. She has extensive experience in the area of audits of non-profit organizations and local governments, in particular with the Single Audit Amendment of 2003, OMB Circular A-133 and specifically the State Department of Education.
In addition to Michelle’s audit activities, she consults with emerging companies on accounting and tax issues. Michelle also has extensive working knowledge of the implementation and support of a variety of accounting systems.
Michelle’s activities in the professional community include current State President-Elect of Society of California Accountants (SCA). She has also served as CFO/Secretary and as District Director over the last 6 years. She represents SCA as a member of the Internal Revenue Service Stakeholder Liaison Committee in Sacramento, CA. She is also a member of the AICPA and CalCPA Society.
Michelle has held Board positions for numerous Charitable Organizations in Sacramento, CA and is also a chartered member of Luna Vista Rotary Club.
